Officially Paper Pregnant!
Well, today was a very EXCITING day! We have been blessed with the opportunity to submit our paperwork for the adoption of our 2nd daughter with our friends the Lynn family and the Sullivan family. The Zaepfel family, a family we met at the AWAA National Reunion this past summer and good friends of the Sullivan's, also submitted their dossier with us today!
Our plan was to meet at the AWAA office in McLean, VA at 11 a.m. Sophia and I were the first to arrive but Bettina and Alison pulled into the parking lot shortly afterwards followed by Denise and Heather. Margaret and Jillian met us upstairs in the AWAA office shortly after 11 a.m. Our Family Coordinator's met us in the reception area then took us back into the conference room to wait while they reviewed our dossiers. Once the Familiy Coordinator's reviewed our paperwork and determined everything was "ok" we all went to Tachibana for lunch. This was a very nice Japanese restaurant within walking distance from the AWAA office and a favorite of Bettina's!
