Shamian Island and chest x-ray!!!!!!

After breakfast we went to the Liuhua Lake Park across the street with the Thomas family (9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.) Wow, what a beautiful park. There has been a typhoon threat the last two days and it started raining while we were at the park. The Typhoon hit land in Gangdong early yesterday which brought alot of rain and winds. We heard that flights were cancelled and people were evacuated but we are all fine.

When we came back, we ordered room service for lunch and I quickly ran next door to do some shopping. I came back empty handed.

Today was the day the group was taken to Shamian Island to do some shopping but before we could do any shopping we needed to go back to have the children's TB shots looked at. Most of the children had to have an x-ray done since the results were positive. Now, I argued that Avah's was positive because of where they put the "pen marks" on her arm. Anybody who has a mark larger than 5 mm needs to get an x-ray and Avah's was 6 mm. X-rays were done on the kids and all came out negative. Yeah!! We were now allowed to go shopping!

Nelson and Sophia stayed at the hotel so they could go swimming. Both of them had a great time!!

For dinner we went to the Japanese restaurant again. Gotta go….someone is happily yelling, MOMMY, MOMMY, MOMMY!
