From the Rumor Queen:
Instead of more communication, it looks like waiting parents are about to get less communication from the CCAA.
What does this mean? The agencies will have a “top secret” box that they can choose to tell us about, or not, at their whim? Or, the agencies will know the status of their clients but not the overall status?
What reason could there be for taking down the public box? Other than to stop giving the media an “official” notice of where the CCAA is with referrals? I don’t know, but I appear to be in a rather cynical mood, so perhaps I should stop guessing for now.
The public box on the CCAA website says:
The information included in the Documents Processing has moved to the CCAA Work System. Adoptive families who would like to get the information, please check through your adoption agency.
